This process includes grinding them using diamond floor grinders with a HEPA-filtrated, industrial vacuum system attached to remove most of the dust during the process. We will inspect the floor to repair cracks, small breaks, and fissures when finished.
Applying. Once your floor is carefully prepped, we mix primer and basecoat materials on-site using a formula based on the square footage of your space. This ensures cost-efficiency, maximum durability and mil-thickness build. We'll apply the product evenly using a squeegee and large rollers, forcing the epoxy into all the concrete's open pores.
Decorating. At this point, we'll add the decorative flakes by hand while the basecoat is still wet. This ensures proper chemical bonding, whether you choose a finish that looks like granite, quartz, stone, or metallic. We apply these flakes at a minimum rate of 25 pounds per 100 square foot to ensure even distribution.
Protecting. Finally, we will seal the flakes into your floor using a chemical-resistant yet easy-to-clean product. We also apply a topcoat sealer mixed on-site and apply it using a squeegee and back-rolling method to ensure a flawless final result.
Cleaning. Once your epoxy floor coating is complete, we'll return to clean your floors, and in less than 24 hours, you can open them up to foot traffic and even put back the contents of the space. In less than 72 hours, you can park vehicles on it.
